Ever looked back and thought, ‘That was the moment that changed my life’? In Grant Thornton’s My Big Decision series, we’re asking prominent business individuals about the critical moment that changed their lives forever. This month, it’s the turn of Chris Anderson, author of the controversial new book Free: The Future of a Radical Price...

In 2001, Chris Anderson resigned from his job as Business Editor of ‘The Economist’ to run an underperforming technology magazine in San Francisco called ‘Wired’. Find out the story behind his decision to move from print to web just as the dot-com bubble burst and how he became a very public figure as a result.

Chris Anderson follows on from renowned cultural commentator Fons Trompenaars, who kicked off the My Big Decision series by revealing how leaving his homeland of Holland to study in America in his early 20s set him on the path to both career – and marital – success.
