We are happy to announce that Anuj Chande, Corporate Finance Partner and Head of the South Asia Group at Grant Thornton, was awarded the prestigious Pride of India Leadership Award by the NRI Institute yesterday [27 September].

The NRI Institute is a not-for-profit organisation for people of Indian origin (PIOs) and non-resident Indians (NRI). It recognises successful PIOs in their chosen profession by presenting annual awards to honour those whose achievements stand out above the rest.

As a NRI, Anuj has achieved great success in his 25 years at Grant Thornton. On receiving the accolade, he said, “This award is recognition of the strength that Grant Thornton and its South Asia Group continues to build in the Indian community.”

Anuj received his award during an event hosted by the Rt Hon Baroness Verma in the House of Lords on 27 September 2010.
