The role of the finance director (FD), or chief financial officer (CFO), is ever evolving and the need for easy-to-access, bite-size information has never been greater. We have, therefore, created FD Intelligence to round up the key issues that should be on your agenda. View our launch edition here: FD Intelligence: Knowledge You Need
What is FD Intelligence?
FD Intelligence is a dedicated email, a blog channel, a regional and national events programme and a peer networking opportunity for the UK finance director community.
It is our major new initiative to keep you up to date and informed – as quickly and easily as possible – at a time of huge change for tax, business and the economy.
Watch our short FD Intelligence email launch video.
Why should I read the FD Intelligence email?
Because we know that finance directors are finding it hard to weather the changing economic climate and stay on top of the financial challenges affecting their company, as well as dealing with day-to-day technical issues and other hot topics affecting the UK FD community.
Every six weeks, we round up the knowledge you need, in one place, optimised to be read on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
I’m too busy being an FD…
The FD Intelligence email is designed to save you time and can be read anywhere – at home, the office, on the train. It’s also short enough to act as a regular, convenient, one-stop shop for all the issues that are highly relevant to you. For example, our first issue posted features on:
• UK GAAP’s replacement
• Asset-based lending
• ‘Underwater’ share option schemes
• FD interview – with Iceland’s Tarsem Dhaliwal
• Technical notes on the tax investigation of directors’ fees, preparing for impairment fees and year-end audits
• At-a-glance round-up of economic indicators
FD Intelligence offers a fast, easy way to stay on top of hot topics, technical issues and economic indicators, as well as lighter reads on how your peers work.
