How to nominate an FD or CFO
For the FDs’ Awards, submit a quick nomination – you can nominate yourself or another FD. Alternatively, fill out a full entry form, which lists the full criteria for nomination.
The categories are: Young FD of the Year; Private Company FD of the Year; and FD of the Future.
How to nominate a service provider
You can also nominate the best service providers via the Excellence Awards survey. Categories here include business banks, auditors (big six and mid-tier), financial software suppliers and recruitment firms.
When and where
The FDs’ Excellence Awards is an annual event that recognises the achievements of the UK’s best finance directors – and their service providers. This year, it takes place on 24 May 2012 in London and will be hosted by Real Business, in association with ICAEW and supported by the CBI.
There are main three categories: the nomination-only FDs’ Awards; the Excellence Awards in which 1,000 FDs vote for the best service providers; and the FTSE FDs’ Awards (FTSE 100 FD of the Year, FTSE 250 FD of the Year, Small Quoted FD of the Year).
The FTSE FDs’ Awards judges
Judges for the FTSE FD categories were announced yesterday by Real Business, as part of the FDs Raise Their Voice Day. They are:
